Lanterns from recycled materials
Any translucent materials can be used on glass gars or plastic bottles. For the Thames festival Bottle bugs with wings were made in primary schools a colourful variety of imaginary bugs were created. We have also run many lantern projects using willow and tissue paper but we are always looking to explore new possibilities.
Puppets
Using different mediums to make a variety of puppets. From making to designing and producing a show the options are endless.
Shadow Puppets
A fantastic group activities creating 2D rod puppets, they can be decorated using lighting gel. Children can produce short shows in a day and perform them to each other. A very exciting and magical project for students to get involved in.

Take a good look at your self. A chance to create an abstract clay sculpture by studying your own face. A really hands on workshop Using air-drying clay.

Using air-dry clay the children can explore 3 dimensional modelling by creating a sculpture or pot relating to the chosen theme.
Mask making
Always a popular workshop so for this project we work in many different ways to create and decorate 3D carnival or animal masks form life size masks to giant tribal processional masks.

Students have the opportunity to design an abstract cityscape picture using mixed media such as newspaper, pastels, charcoal ECT.
